Fatimah Kabba, a NY based designer and recent graduate from the School of Visual Arts launched a KickStarter campaign to bring the cut-throat business of ‘pitching’ to our homes through a new board game called The Pitch: The Game of Graphic Design.
After studying abroad this summer - my thoughts completely.
Like Tiffany’s its brand has a signature color - this dark olive green. As soon as you see someone in London with a green bag you instantly think “Harrods”. It’s brilliant. Companies should strive for this sort of recognition when designing a brand or logo.
As for Harrods… I could live in there for days. Too bad I’d actually have to pay off my credit card… ;)
Advanced Typography class next semester… I’m ready :)
